What do we want to grow?
Our lack of a human goal, something to collectively strive for, is problematic.
Experts in business, personal development, academics, science, politics, etc all agree: Having a goal is the most important step.
If people don’t know where they want to go, or what they want to achieve, they’ll never get there.
And yet, it’s like humanity is on a rudderless ship without a captain, bouncing through time and endlessly reacting to new threats—with no clear destination in mind. We desperately lack a beacon for present and future generations of humanity to strive for; a new vision or new place we want arrive at in the future.
Everything in life depends on how well the future is conceived. – E.O. Wilson
We desperately need something to orient human endeavour. Without a clear idea of where we want to go, we have no hope of ever getting there. And because redesigning and rebuilding our world will require a level of human effort without precedent in history, this destination must have widespread, near universal, appeal.

There is nothing like a dream to create the future. – Victor Hugo
